StandBy Support After Suicide is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities.
Our website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and to incorporate relevant WCAG A and AA requirements as endorsed by the Australian Government.
This site has been built using code compliant with W3C standards for HTML and CSS. The site is compatible with current browsers and using standards compliant HTML/CSS code.
StandBy is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. This means that some parts of the content may not fully conform to the accessibility standard:
- Non-HTML documents on this website are available in PDF format
- Adobe Acrobat Reader software is available to view PDFs as a free download from the Adobe website. The Accessibility Resource Centre at Adobe provides a user guide to assist users of screen readers to read the content of PDF documents
- Video content currently do not include captions
We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring all areas of our site up to the same level of overall web accessibility. Should you experience any difficulty in accessing the StandBy website, please send us feedback and enquiries to national@standbysupport.com.au
