Western Queensland

The StandBy Western Qld team is here to support individuals, families, groups, communities and workplaces who have been bereaved or impacted by suicide.

The Western Queensland region spans a large area including Normanton in the North, Mount Isa, Longreach, Charleville and Cunnamulla in the South. From the Northern Territory border in the North West, down to the New South Wales border in the South and into the far Western corner of Birdsville, we are here to support you.

We can provide individualised support and help to link you in with other services or information as needed. We can provide face-to-face support thanks to our support team that live throughout this region and can also provide support over the phone or via video conferencing where needed.

Educational workshops can also be delivered in your local community or workplace to help provide information and resources on how we can help create safe, inclusive and supportive communities for those bereaved by suicide.

Our services are free to access, simply call 1300 727 247 to get in touch.
